Split Core and Cavity with Simple Extrude and Surface Features

Though creating a core-cavity part may be mostly used by mold designers, it is also important for FEA and reverse engineering engineering to learn this ability to help them with their requirements.

Solidworks provides a robust Mold Design tools to do this, but you are also able to achieve this results using the simple extrude and surface features found in Solidworks. For this 2 parts series, I will be looking at how you could use these tools to create a core-cavity pair.
