19 July 2016, Kinesis Fusionopolis Way Singapore: ATE was invited to be one of the attendees for their Complimentary talk. This initiative is for the industry, the importance of knowledge and competence in high precision and high accuracy in knowing in-depth the industrial robots and automation.

 

SIMTech’s WDA-accredited Graduate Diploma in Mechatronics including precision machines, machine performance control and vibration, geometric dimension & tolerance was introduced and the topics was well explained. In this course duration, schedule, registration methods, and available funding from WDA has been shared. Some questions about the course have been addressed.

On the Course Preview

The course is designed to equip the participants with the capabilities of applying multidisciplinary and integrated approaches to design and develop value-added industrial equipment and products with high accuracy, productivity, and functionality such as precision machine tools, semiconductor equipment, and measurement and optical instruments.

For the Programme

Morning started with Registration & Breakfast. The event was formally started by the welcoming address of Dr Lin Wei, SIMTech. This was followed by the Overview of the WSQ Graduate Diploma in Mechatronics by Dr Lin Wei, SIMTech. Later then, Application of Industrial Robots and Automation was discussed by Dr Ng Teck Chew, SIMTech. Some of the important subjects given elnlighenment on the event was – Experience Sharing of Mechatronics Course by Kong Fang, Postdoc Associate, Singapore MIT Alliance of Research and Technology, and Infectious Disease IRG by Steven Ng, Director, Aitech Mechatronics (S) Pte Ltd. The session ended with Q&A and Networking Coffee.
